Rainfall warning in place for Galway

A Status Yellow weather warning remains in place for Galway this evening.
Met Eireann says up to 70mm will fall in parts of the county tonight and tomorrow. There will be 30mm to 50mm of rain today, tonight and much of Tuesday, with up to 70mm possible in mountainous areas.
Coastal and mountainous areas will be particularly affected, and the warning applies to counties Galway, Mayo, Clare and Cork.
The weather warning remains in place until 6pm tomorrow.
