Galway TD Catherine Connolly has called on Bus Eireann to reinstate vital services which have been withdrawn from the city network.
Certain services from Westside to Claddagh, Scoil Einde to Seacrest and Claddagh to Westside via Salthill are set to be pulled after the mid-term break.
The Independent Galway West deputy says the service has been in existence for 30 years and serves around 50 families with school children.
She argues the decision was made without consultation ahead of the winter period.
Bus Eireann says the services can no longer operate when alternative transport is available on the regular city network.
Deputy Connolly has brought the matter to the attention of the Minister for Transport Shane Ross.
