20 percent drop in Galway company insolvencies

There’s been a 20 percent drop in the number of Galway firms being declared insolvent.
Figures from business services firm Vision-Net show that so far this year, 40 companies across the county have published insolvency notices.
Between January and October of this year, 40 firms across Galway published insolvency notices.
That’s a significant drop of 18 percent when compared to the same period last year, when 49 Galway businesses were affected by insolvency.
Nationally, 792 Irish companies have been declared insolvent so far this year – while almost 18,000 new ventures have been formed between January and October.
