Plan approved for new primary school in Carrabane

Plans have been approved for a new primary school on lands adjacent to Kilconeiron GAA club.
The proposed development includes a new 2-storey, eight classroom building at Carrabane, the new St Joseph’s National School.
The project also provides for cark parking and set-down facilities as well as outdoor sports areas
County planners have attached 16 conditions.
One states the developer is to facilitate the archaeological appraisal of the site.
