Galway Bay fm newsroom – Representatives of Galway Traveller Movement have walked out of City Hall during a heated discussion on the city Traveller Accommodation Plan.
A meeting this afternoon is currently dealing with the plan, after councillors failed to agree on future plans for Traveller accommodation at a special meeting two weeks ago.
Councillors were outlining their views that halting sites are a ‘failed concept’, when two representatives of GTM got up and left the meeting.
