A young man has been released without charge following a road collision in Recess early this morning.
A man in his 70s is being treated in hospital following the incident.
It happened at around 8.30am outside Joyce’s grocery shop and filling station when a car struck a pensioner.
The 18 year old driver of the car was arrested at the scene and he has since been released without charge.
The elderly man is being treated at UHG for a broken leg.
