Families at the centre of an inquiry into care at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe say the review has taken too long to complete.
The review which looks at two baby deaths amongst other cases – was set up last March and was due to be completed within five months.
The families involved are now expecting to receive a draft copy of the report this week.
Warren Reilly is the father of babies Asha and Amber who died at the hospital in 2008 and 2010 – he says the delays have made coping much more difficult:
