Man to face trial over Glenamaddy murder

A man accused of the murder of a Glenamaddy factory worker has been sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court.
30-year old Latvian national, Andresj Krauze was served with a Book of Evidence at Tuam District Court today.
Krauze is charged with killing Juris Buls in July 2011.
Juris Buls had worked at Titan Plastics in Glenamaddy and was 30 when he disappeared in July 2011.
His body was discovered near Creggs about a fortnight after his disappearance.
A post mortem examination revealed he had been strangled.
Andresj Krauze feld to Latvia after the murder but was arrested by Tuam gardaí in his home country in January this year, on foot of a European arrest warrant.
At Tuam District Court today, he was served with a Book of Evidence and will now face trial at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.
A date for the trial has not yet been set.
