A business in Loughrea has been destroyed in an overnight blaze.
Emergency services arrived at the scene at ‘Twist’ Charity Shop ‘Twist’ on Dunkellin Street in the town just after 3.30 this morning.
Two units from Loughrea Fire Brigade were assisted by a unit from Athenry as crews battled for several hours to bring the fire under control.
Emergency services remained at the scene until around 7am. The fire has destroyed the Twist premises.
The scene has been preserved pending a full technical examination.
