Woman hospitalised following Terryland collision

A woman has been hospitalised following a collision in the city this afternoon.
The female pedestrian in her 20s was hit by a truck at Terryland shortly after 1pm.
Gardaí and emergency services were at the scene and the woman was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Galway, but it’s understood she did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.
The male driver of the vehicle was not injured in the collision but is said to be shaken following the incident.
