Bus Éireann workers in Galway will stage marches on Thursday as part of their industrial action.
An all-out strike has been underway at Bus Éireann since March 24th resulting in the cancellation of all bus services, except for school runs.
A series of marches will take place in the city on Thursday morning ahead of a special city council meeting at 10am at College Road to discuss traffic congestion.
The first march will get underway from Cemetery Cross, Bohermore at 9am on Thursday towards County Buildings at Prospect Hill.
Another march will travel at 9.15am from Moneenageisha to City Hall at College Road.
A third march will make its way from Ceannt station to County Buildings Prospect Hill.
All three marches will then converge at City Hall College Road at 9.45am.
The Bus Éireann staff plan to hand a letter of protest to the Cathaoirleach of the county council Michael Connolly and Mayor of Galway, Noel Larkin urging the government and company management to give the people of Galway back their bus services.
Bus Éireann driver, Mark Greaney says they are hoping the public will support their marches on Thursday morning.
