The head of the Galway Bay Brewery says the company plans to start exporting next year as part of its continued expansion.
The company is to shortly open its 12th bar and a new brewery.
The new bar will be located in Limerick – ten years after the brewery opened its first bar in Galway, while the new brewery will be based in Galway.
Galway Bay Brewery currently employs around 150 people.
The group’s existing businesses include the Oslo bar in Salthill, the Salt House in the city, and several bars across Dublin.
Managing Director Neil Walsh says the company is hoping to begin exporting next year.
